Our ingredients
To make our feed, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, so that it can be processed better in our pellets. With the right amount of vegetables, fruit and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for dogs.
Buffalo
At Yourdog we use meat from free-raised and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color and is full of vitamins and minerals. With a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is packed with health benefits.
Poultry

Tyrolean broke specific vegetables, herbs and fruits
We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Tyrolean Beagle. We also investigated the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Tyrolean Beagle belongs. In consultation with leading Dutch nutritionist, ingredients have been selected from these studies that optimally benefit the health and well-being of the Tyrolean beagle.
Basil
Basil is a genus of the lip flower family. The name comes from Ancient Greek, in which Œbasileus means king, so the alternative name is royal herb. It is native to Central Africa and Southeast Asia.
According to traditional medicine, basil was used as a treatment method for arthritis, bronchitis, colds, stomach ulcers, heart disease and abdominal pain, among other things. Research has shown that basil may have strong antioxidant, antiviral and antimicrobial properties. In addition, basil can promote digestion, it helps with the removal of waste and it can have an antispasmodic and calming effect on the dog.
Fennel
Fennel is a plant from the umbellifer family and can be recognized by its aniseed flavour. The filiform branches of the leaves are often used as a spice and the seeds as a spice. These seeds have been known for centuries for their medicinal properties.
Like many herbs and seeds, fennel is also rich in various vitamins and minerals. It contains a lot of vitamins A and C and the minerals iron and potassium.

Tomato
The tomato is part of the nightshade family and comes from the tomato plant, originally from Mesoamerica. Small varieties were cultivated in Mesoamerica by the Aztecs and Mayas. In 1893 in America it was decided that the fruit should be considered a vegetable.
At Yourdog we use tomato on a culinary level, we assume tomato as a vegetable.
Tomatoes are rich in nutrients, low in calories and have a high soluble fiber content which aids in digestion. Tomatoes also contain lycopene, which gives tomatoes their red color. The redder a tomato is, the more lycopene it contains. In addition to giving a tomato its red color, it is also known as a powerful antioxidant. For example, research has shown that lycopene can protect against cancer and can help with cardiovascular disease, among other things. In addition, tomato contains a lot of vitamin C and vitamin A and B complexes, which can contribute to healthy skin and an improved immune system.
Tomato is added to our dog food because it could make a positive contribution to the prevention of breed-specific complaints in relation to digestion, skin, vision and cardiovascular disease. In addition, it can have a general purifying effect on the body.
Puppy, adult or senior?
To help you make the right choice between our varieties of Tyrolean beagle dog food, you can use the following guidelines. If your Tyrolean Beagle is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Tyrolean beagle older than 7 years, we recommend the Yourdog Tyrolean beagle senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult version.

Switching advice
If you switch to Yourdog from another feed brand, we advise you to follow the following steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then you feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this again for two or three days. Then you mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely over to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. At your own discretion, you can then start feeding 100% Yourdog Tyrolean beagle dog food.
Storage advice
After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect the shelf life and taste. That is why it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or barrel in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food loose in the barrel, but to put it in the barrel with the whole bag, which you close again as well as possible.
