Our ingredients

Buffalo

Chondroitin occurs naturally in the dog's body and is one of the main components of the cartilage tissue. In dogs, chondroitin is able to attract and retain moisture, which should provide a spongy spring in the cartilage.

Chondroitin improves the flexibility of the cartilage and also has an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect. In addition, it also stimulates the production of the building blocks that serve for healthy cartilage.

If chondroitin is given in combination with glucosamine, it supports and enhances the effect of glucosamine. It is therefore often given as a dietary supplement for people and animals suffering from osteoarthritis.

Blueberry

Blueberries belong to the heath family of plants and grow mainly in the open forests in the Northern Hemisphere. The plant has been used for a long time in traditional European medicine and is said to be known for its positive effects on gastrointestinal diseases and diabetes.

Puppy, adult or senior?

To help you make the right choice between our Spinone italiano dog food variants, you can use the following guidelines. If your Spinone italiano is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Spinone Italiano older than 7 years, we recommend the Yourdog Spinone Italiano Senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Nutritional advice

Switching advice

If you switch to Yourdog from another feed brand, we advise you to follow the following steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then you feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this again for two or three days. Then you mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely over to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. At your own discretion, you can then start feeding 100% Yourdog Spinone italiano dog food.

Storage advice

After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect the shelf life and taste. That is why it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or barrel in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food loose in the barrel, but to put it in the barrel with the whole bag, which you close again as well as possible.
