Our ingredients
To make our feed, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, so that it can be processed better in our pellets. With the right amount of vegetables, fruit and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for dogs.
Buffalo
At Yourdog we use meat from free-raised and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color and is full of vitamins and minerals. With a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is packed with health benefits.
Poultry
At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey which together provide a delicious taste and aroma of the kibble. The highly digestible proteins in the poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.
Vegetable

Glen of Imaal Terrier specific vegetables, herbs and fruits
We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Glen of Imaal Terrier. We also investigated the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Glen of imaal terrier belongs. From these studies, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionist, ingredients have been selected that optimally benefit the health and well-being of the Glen of imaal terrier.
Spirulina
Spirulina is a food supplement with an exceptionally high nutritional value, made from blue-green algae found in tropical and subtropical regions. It belongs to the microalgae family. Did you know that spirulina can be grown in space and consists of 60 to 70% protein?
It is rich in vitamins, including B12, minerals, such as calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium and potassium and all essential amino acids. Spirulina can contribute to dog health and well-being in an overall sense. In addition, it can help support the immune system and promote healthy skin and a shiny coat. The algae also has a detoxifying effect and promotes digestion.
Banana
The banana plant grows in tropical areas where the temperature does not fall below 10 degrees Celsius. There is even evidence that the banana may have been cultivated in New Guinea about 7,000 years ago. The name is derived from the word Œbanaana from the language of the Wolof people.
Bananas are rich in vitamins and minerals. Including vitamins A, C and B11 (folic acid) and the minerals potassium, magnesium, iron and zinc. The natural antioxidant, vitamin C, can strengthen the immune system. Vitamin B11, or folic acid, can support the immune system and contribute to a well-functioning nervous system. It can also reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Potassium can also help lower blood pressure in dogs with high blood pressure, while magnesium can help relax muscles and promote bone growth. In addition, banana contains a lot of good fiber and provides more good bacteria in the intestines.
Raspberries

Puppy, adult or senior?
To help you make the right choice between our Glen of Imaal Terrier dog food variants, you can use the following guidelines. If your Glen of Imaal terrier is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Glen of Imaal Terrier older than 7 years, we recommend the Yourdog Glen of Imaal Terrier Senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Switching advice
If you switch to Yourdog from another feed brand, we advise you to follow the following steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then you feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this again for two or three days. Then you mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely over to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. At your own discretion, you can then start feeding 100% Yourdog Glen or imaal terrier dog food.
Storage advice
After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect the shelf life and taste. That is why it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or barrel in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food loose in the barrel, but to put it in the barrel with the whole bag, which you close again as well as possible.
