Our ingredients
To make our feed, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, so that it can be processed better in our pellets. With the right amount of vegetables, fruit and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for dogs.
Buffalo
At Yourdog we use meat from free-raised and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color and is full of vitamins and minerals. With a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is packed with health benefits.
Poultry
At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey which together provide a delicious taste and aroma of the kibble. The highly digestible proteins in the poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.
Vegetable

Fox terrier smooth hair specific vegetables, herbs and fruits
We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Smooth Fox Terrier. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the smooth-haired Fox Terrier belongs. From these studies, ingredients have been selected in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists that optimally benefit the health and well-being of the smooth-haired Fox Terrier.
Nettle
Nettle is a plant genus of which the large nettle and the small nettle occur in the Netherlands and Belgium. Nettle is known for its cleansing and blood purifying effect. According to various sources, nettle is bactericidal and therefore very suitable for infectious diseases. The leaves are also suitable for diarrhea or other digestive disorders.
Nettle supports the functioning of the liver and kidneys by stimulating the breakdown of waste. In addition, it works to support the bladder and hair growth of the dog.
Nettle also contains silicic acid, or silicon. This is a building material that is part of connective tissue in, among other things, the bones, tendons, ligaments, skin, hair and nails. Silicon supports the natural production of the skin (cells) and ensures the maintenance of healthy skin.
At Yourdog we add nettle to our dog food, because it can make a positive contribution to the prevention of breed-specific complaints in relation to the dog's coat, skin and bones, but also to prevent digestive and/or urinary problems .
Banana
The banana plant grows in tropical areas where the temperature does not fall below 10 degrees Celsius. There is even evidence that the banana may have been cultivated in New Guinea about 7,000 years ago. The name is derived from the word Œbanaana from the language of the Wolof people.
Bananas are rich in vitamins and minerals. Including vitamins A, C and B11 (folic acid) and the minerals potassium, magnesium, iron and zinc. The natural antioxidant, vitamin C, can strengthen the immune system. Vitamin B11, or folic acid, can support the immune system and contribute to a well-functioning nervous system. It can also reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Potassium can also help lower blood pressure in dogs with high blood pressure, while magnesium can help relax muscles and promote bone growth. In addition, banana contains a lot of good fiber and provides more good bacteria in the intestines.
Carrot
The carrot as we know it today, or the orange carrot, is the result of many years of crossing. The first white carrots originally came from Iran and were brought to the Netherlands by the VOC in the 17th century.
Carrots are an important source of vitamins and fiber. For example, carrots contain retinol (vitamin A1) and beta-carotene, which is converted into vitamin A in the body. This is important for the construction of capillaries and the health of all cells. The fiber in a carrot contributes to the dog's digestive system. In addition, carrots are low in calories and good for coat and skin.

Puppy, adult or senior?
To help you make the right choice between our varieties of Fox Terrier smooth-haired dog food, you can use the following guidelines. If your smooth-haired Fox Terrier is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Fox terrier smooth hair older than 7 years, we recommend the Yourdog Fox terrier smooth hair senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult version.

Switching advice
If you switch to Yourdog from another feed brand, we advise you to follow the following steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then you feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this again for two or three days. Then you mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely over to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. At your own discretion, you can then start feeding 100% Yourdog Fox terrier smooth-haired dog food.
Storage advice
After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect the shelf life and taste. That is why it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or barrel in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food loose in the barrel, but to put it in the barrel with the whole bag, which you close again as well as possible.
