Our ingredients

To make our feed, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, so that it can be processed better in our pellets. With the right amount of vegetables, fruit and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for dogs.

Buffalo

Spirulina

Tomato

At Yourdog we use tomato on a culinary level, we assume tomato as a vegetable.

Tomatoes are rich in nutrients, low in calories and have a high soluble fiber content which aids in digestion. Tomatoes also contain lycopene, which gives tomatoes their red color. The redder a tomato is, the more lycopene it contains. In addition to giving a tomato its red color, it is also known as a powerful antioxidant. For example, research has shown that lycopene can protect against cancer and can help with cardiovascular disease, among other things. In addition, tomato contains a lot of vitamin C and vitamin A and B complexes, which can contribute to healthy skin and an improved immune system.

Tomato is added to our dog food because it could make a positive contribution to the prevention of breed-specific complaints in relation to digestion, skin, vision and cardiovascular disease. In addition, it can have a general purifying effect on the body.

Puppy, adult or senior?

To help you make the right choice between our Flat Coated Retriever dog food variants, you can use the following guidelines. If your Flat-coated retriever is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Flat-coated retriever older than 7 years, we recommend the Yourdog Flat-coated retriever senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Nutritional advice

Switching advice

If you switch to Yourdog from another feed brand, we advise you to follow the following steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then you feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this again for two or three days. Then you mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely over to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. At your own discretion, you can then start feeding 100% Yourdog Flat-coated retriever dog food.

Storage advice

After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect the shelf life and taste. That is why it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or barrel in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food loose in the barrel, but to put it in the barrel with the whole bag, which you close again as well as possible.
