Our ingredients
To make our feed, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, so that it can be processed better in our pellets. With the right amount of vegetables, fruit and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for dogs.
Buffalo
At Yourdog we use meat from free-raised and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and rich color and is full of vitamins and minerals. With a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is packed with health benefits.
Poultry
At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey which together provide a delicious taste and aroma of the kibble. The highly digestible proteins in the poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.
Vegetable
Super healthy vegetables have been added to our food to provide the dog with extra valuable nutrients. For example, vegetables are not only nutritious, but they also have other healthy properties. Spices
The healthy herbs that enrich our feed come from plants from Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants and seaweed has its origins back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Every ingredient that we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its positive properties. Depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group, ingredients are given extra attention. Breed-specific complaints can be reduced by using herbs, roots, flowers and plants.
Broholmer specific vegetables, herbs and fruits
We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Broholmer. We also investigated the characteristics of the FCI variety section and the FCI variety group to which the Broholmer belongs. From these studies, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionist, ingredients have been selected that optimally benefit the health and well-being of the Broholmer.
Raspberries
The raspberry is a plant of the rose family and belongs to the genus Rubus. The cultivation of raspberries dates back to the Middle Ages and occurs naturally throughout Europe.
Raspberries contain many substances that can support the health of the dog, such as vitamins such as vitamin C, minerals such as manganese and antioxidants. Furthermore, raspberries are low in sugar and calories and rich in good fiber.
Raspberry is added to our dog food because of its anti-inflammatory properties and it can make a positive contribution to the functioning of the immune system. Raspberries can also contribute to the maintenance of vision and a healthy cardiovascular system.
Celery
Celery is a plant of the umbellifer family. The plant can often be found along the coast on wet soil.
Celery is rich in vitamins A, C and K, but also contains a lot of folic acid and potassium. In addition, celery is fat-free, rich in fiber and very low in calories.
We add celery to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to supporting the dog's immune system and digestive system. It can also have a positive influence on the skin and coat, the functioning of the muscles and nerves through vitamin A and the maintenance of strong bones through vitamin K.
Blueberry
Blueberries belong to the heath family of plants and grow mainly in the open forests in the Northern Hemisphere. The plant has been used for a long time in traditional European medicine and is said to be known for its positive effects on gastrointestinal diseases and diabetes.
Blueberries can be added to our dog food because they are rich in antioxidants, which protect the body against free radicals. In addition, they contain good fiber for digestion and the berries are rich in vitamins C and K. It could support the immune system and contribute to the overall health of the dog.
Puppy, adult or senior?
To help you make the right choice between our Broholmer dog food variants, you can use the following guidelines. If your Broholmer is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Broholmer older than 7 years, we recommend the Yourdog Broholmer senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult version.

We are convinced of the quality of our food. That is why we give a palatability guarantee on all Yourdog packaging. If your Broholmer does not seem to like his Yourdog dog food, please contact us. We help you analyze the problems. If we cannot come to an agreement together, we will refund the purchase amount.

Switching advice
If you switch to Yourdog from another feed brand, we advise you to follow the following steps. For the first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to this for two days. Then you feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It is important that you let the dog get used to this again for two or three days. Then you mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely over to Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. At your own discretion, you can then start feeding 100% Yourdog Broholmer dog food.
Storage advice
After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect the shelf life and taste. That is why it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or barrel in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food loose in the barrel, but to put it in the barrel with the whole bag, which you close again as well as possible.
