This sand provides a very natural living environment and stimulates the natural behavior of animals, such as digging and laying eggs. The sand has good thermal conductivity and is therefore also suitable for use in combination with heat mats, heat cables and other UTH. The substrate is easy to clean by scooping out faeces with a shovel.
