The Easy Walk Harness is designed to gently discourage your dog from pulling while walking on a leash. It's that simple - easy to customize, easy to use. It takes little time to get used to and no special techniques are required.
Unlike traditional harnesses, the Easy Walk harness does not cause coughing, gagging or choking because the chest strap rests low over the sternum and not on the area near the trachea, which is very sensitive.
Traditional harnesses actually encourage dogs to pull harder through the “opposition reflex.” This is the reflex that causes sled dogs to pull against the pressure to move the sled.
The unique leash attachment at the front of the Easy Walk Harness stops pulling by sending the dog to the side and focusing its attention on you. The patent-pending D-ring chest loop provides added leverage for easy, relaxing control and prevents the harness from twisting and slack.
It is not recommended to use the Easy Walk harness with a retractable leash. With such a leash, the dog is "rewarded" with more room to walk when it pulls. The goal is to teach the dog NOT to pull. Plus, a retractable leash will always apply a light, steady pressure, teaching your dog that it's okay to keep pulling.
The harness comes with a 1.8 meter leash.
