Beaphar Wormicide (formerly Ascapinal) for oral use, solution for cage and aviary birds, rabbits and rodents to combat roundworms and hairworms.
Instructions for use and dosage:
Individual dose, directly in the mouth:
Dosage per 12.5 g bird weight: 1 drop (= 0.5 mg levamisole)
Canary (25 g): 2 drops
Budgerigar (40-50 g): 4 drops
Large parakeet (40-100 g): 4-8 drops
Parrot (100-1000 g): 8-80 drops
Repeat treatment after 2 weeks.
Group dosage through the drinking water:
Dissolve 7.5ml wormer in 250ml drinking water (30ml per litre). Give this solution as the only drinking water for 24 hours to all birds/rabbits/rodents present. Remove bath water if necessary. Repeat treatment after 2 weeks.
